My love for illustration comes in two forms:
Children's books illustration and surface pattern design.

Hi! I'm Serineh, an author-illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Yerevan, Armenia.
After earning my MA in Graphic Design from the Art University of Tehran, I followed my dream of becoming a children’s book illustrator.
Alongside illustrating stories, I have a deep love for pattern making. Exploring how illustrations can repeat, dance, and tell new stories across fabric, paper, and everyday objects.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature, childhood memories,
and dreams. I’m especially drawn to botanicals and often weave them into my illustrations and patterns, pairing them with fun, quirky characters and gentle storytelling details.
In addition to illustration, I also develop my own author-illustrator projects.
My debut picture book as an illustrator, Yasi & Mina's Pomegranate Tree (Sleeping Bear Press), was published in April 2025.
I usually spend my days behind my desk, creating what I love. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me lost in a book, making mosaic art, caring for my plants (I dream of having a greenhouse someday), or enjoying long walks.
If you'd wish to work together or simply say hello, feel free to send me a message below. I'd be delighted to hear from you!
